Drawing with rocks today. I laid out a labyrinth at the edge of the woods. This is my second. The first was a larger classical seven circuit at my log cabin on a river. It was disassembled a few years ago, before selling the property.
I have been reading Gathering Moss by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Her language is beautiful. Over time and with a little nurturing, the rocks of this place will host diverse lichen and mosses. The path is already dominated by many of these species. No shoes allowed.
